SDC Regulation 18 Consultation starts today

Sevenoaks District Council's Regulation 18 consultation commences today and runs until midnight on Thursday 11th December 2025. The Local Plan will guide how new developments are delivered between 2027 and 2042. It will include potential development sites, proposed by landowners, to meet the Government’s significantly increased local housing target of 17,175 new homes. Sevenoaks District Council is holding pop up sessions to allow you to meet with the Planning Policy team, hear about the proposals and have your say on the Local Plan. The sessions will include a short presentation by the Planning Team, a chance to view exhibition boards and consultation materials, and questions and answers. Spaces at the pop-up sessions must be booked in advance as the venues have limited capacity. Bookings are now open.

There are pop up sessions in Chiddingstone Causeway Hall on Tuesday 18th November 2025, and sessions run at 4pm, 5.30pm and 7pm. It is essential that you book a place.
